I like the fact that there’s these kind of natural stops where we review what we’ve done to understand that we’re doing the right things before moving to the next one. While studying Sport Psychology in my second year I found it really hard to obtain any form of work experience/industry work. I emailed around 100 BPS registered Sport Psych’s, out of them all just Duncan and a few others got back. Duncan was really helpful and the experience I had was worthwhile, I had to monitor the antecedents to players receiving yellow and red cards in the South Africa World Cup 2010, the work was really interesting and I learnt a lot about how to use video technology which assisted me in my Major Independent Study. I would recommend Duncan as a top University lecturer and if I was a student looking for a Sport Psychology placement I would definitely contact Duncan.
